PROMYS India

A challenging six-week residential mathematics summer programme, PROMYS India is open to mathematically talented secondary and higher secondary students (Standards IX - XII or equivalent). Meticulously selected students from across India will gather on the campus of the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bengaluru to immerse themselves in rigorous mathematics.

PROMYS India is closely modelled on its parent programme, Program in Mathematics for Young Scientists (PROMYS) which has been running at Boston University in the United States since 1989.

PROMYS India 2023

We are looking forward with great anticipation to gathering exceptionally talented students and counsellors for six weeks of exciting mathematics on the campus of the Indian Institute of Science in Bengaluru.

Dates for PROMYS India 2023: 7 May – 17 June, 2023

For at least the first year of the programme, all students will receive a full scholarship covering all costs of participation: tuition, hostel, meals, books, and travel. These full scholarships are thanks to the generosity and vision of PROMYS India's founding sponsors: Nick Nash & Phalgun Raju, Avi and Sandra Nash, Indira Foundation, and Morph.org.

Our Guiding Principles
