Devansh is from Indore and graduated from higher secondary school in 2019. He has now working towards a degree in Mathematics at the Chennai Mathematical Institute. Devansh undertook two advanced seminars at PROMYS in 2018: Cryptography taught by PROMYS alum Professor Li-Mei Lim (Boston University) and Galois Theory taught by PROMYS alum Professor David Speyer (University of Michigan). His research project was "Expansions of Natural Numbers and of Real Numbers." In 2019, Devansh was a Junior Counselor and gave a counselor minicourse on the Soddy-Gosset Theorem. His research project was titled, "Characterizing D for Integer-Solvable x2 − Dy2 = −1."
